Who can certify projects with the ReSMART Index?

To certify a project, it is necessary to complete training with accredited training providers and pass the exam to become a ReSMART Index Accredited Professional. ASACERT is the certifying body for the ReSMART Index.
How can I become a ReSMART Index Accredited Professional?
If you are an architect or engineer, you can enroll in the training program provided by Planet and Arup, co-authors of the Index. The training courses will be available starting in 2025. To receive updates on the first sessions, please fill the “Sign up” box.
How much does it cost to certify a project?
Certification costs are borne by the project developer and include:
- Registration on the ASACERT certification platform
- Project assessment phase
- Issuance of the certification

Optional design support to achieve a Certified, Merit, or Mastery level within the Index The certification fees will be published on the ASACERT website. Fees for design support services are determined by the accredited professionals.
I am a developer. Where can I start evaluating my project?
You can start by assessing your project using the ReSMART Index Light evaluation system developed by Planet Smart City. By entering a basic list of the solutions adopted in your project, you can obtain a reference range to understand your baseline before investing in smart solution implementations. The digital platform will soon be developed by ASACERT.
